Work is coordinated and scheduled with the General Contractor, if there is one on your project. We also must coordinate with an electrician if electrical work is required. All other on-site work is scheduled in 4 hour blocks. You do not have to be present as long as we have access to the building.

We may bring in companies or individual contractors that will perform parts of the overall project. For example, a Crestron programmer may be hired to program your home controls or a crew of installers may be hired to pre-wire.

Are you shopping?

  • Pricing: While we may not be the cheapest available, we offer fair and reasonable prices on the products we sell. Our prices have been set with consideration to the quality of your installation and your ultimate satisfaction with your system and installation experience. It is our intent to make a reasonable profit and provide you with the very best service, not be the "low price leader". The equipment we put in our proposals have been proven to work well together. Our technicians have been trained by the manufacturers on these specific brands.
  • Internet Purchases: We understand that many clients have heard of, and are interested in internet purchases. Most of the manufacturers we represent will void the warranty if an item is purchased on line. HSI has signed an agreement with our manufacturers not to purchase or install items which were sold via the internet. This kind of agreement helps to prevent internet fraud and lower level (B level) products being sold as first rate (A-1 level).
