Here are the steps you can expect:

  • Complete needs assessment
  • Selection of the equipment and initial design of the project
  • Project proposal and contract
  • Prewiring - Installation of all wires and cables needed for the project
  • Trim out - This is the final stage of installation where faceplates, and connections are added, we hook it all up and make it work.
  • Training - We'll teach you how to use all of the equipment we install.
  • In-Service Program

Remember, by the time you sign the contract, you should be clear on the services we will be performing for you. If you have questions, now is the time to ask. Any changes after work has begun will result in a change order which will increase your costs.

Understanding the New Technology

The world of electronics has changed drastically. You can still go buy a television that has a tuner, sound and a good picture, but newer technology focuses on being great at one thing - delivering the picture.

Many plasma televisions have a great picture, but no tuner. Speakers may be optional. What this means for the consumer is that a separate tuner box and sound system with separate remote controls is are required. Add that to a DVD or Blu-Ray, or more, and you have a complex system. It will take a while to learn which button to push to simply watch TV.

Home Systems Integration will help you with your purchasing decisions, design a system, install it and teach you how to use it. We offer a variety of packages to fit most clients needs as well custom designs.

Home Systems Integration strives to help clients prepare for these changes when they make a decision on a technology before proceeding with the installation. You, the client need to be willing to adapt to these changes, or let us know you're not, so that we can make adjustments to accommodate your needs.

Above all, if you have questions, ask us. We want to help you.
